I think gamesindustry.biz is useful in some aspects for instance they give accurate descriptions of jobs going and provide the information that you need to make sure the job seems fitting, including important information such as the wage, the description of the job and an in-depth summary of what skills are required and how daunting the job can be at times. There is a example I've included that is a job application for localization, the head of localization and the job states:

This is a very good job description as this kind of job would require skills such as the ability to devise, mentor and support a leadership team, the ability to collaborate with businesses and development leaders, the ability to implement strategy. The job description actually provides more than what I've put which is great because I couldn't find any sites that explained the job roles in a lot of detail. The sorts of jobs I'd be interested in is a concept artist or a 3D modeler be cause they're the most fun for me as I get to create and draw things with my imagination and I plan on using this website in the future to search for jobs that I see fit and that appeal to me with concept art and 3D modelling and overall I would give the website a 8 out of 10. Some things could be easier to navigate and it could be more aesthetically pleasing because the website does look quite boring as appearance means a lot to me so having something stand out is what interests me the most.

You have two options of applying you can either create an account on there or use the search bar and just type in a few keywords of the job you're looking for.
When you register it will ask you to fill out the basics of your name email address and what jobs you want to go for and your desired location and salary, you will also need to attach your CV
what happens when you apply? You apply for a job with your CV and you wait for a email from whoever the person is who runs the job.
How useful would this website be for those looking for games industry jobs?
The website is really useful for those looking for jobs in the games industry as there is is the ability to search for any desired job and to add keywords as an option. There are also various job sectors to choose from such as games programming, art and animation, games design, sales games and so much more. The website is very easy to navigate and there isn't any complications as like the other website you can search job vacancies by either joining or letting them email you obviously attaching your email along with your CV and the website allows you to input where you specifically want to work. There are also huge variety of jobs available to choose from too!
In the contact us page there is a application to fill out where you put your essential details and upload your CV if you don't want to register.

I think the Graduate advice section is very useful as it explains what to do next for graduates who are maybe stuck at certain things or don't know which path to take on their journey. It gives advice on how to spice up your CV and to use Agencies telling you to give examples of your work. These sections are very useful as they steer you in a clear path of what to do and how to stand out in the games industry which is one of the best and important things to stand out and for this I rate it 9/10 because it really steers you on a good path and doesn't just tell you to "keep on looking"

One feature I like about linked in is that it gives you the ability to create your own profile and personalize it which is great because it gives you your own diversity and solitude in a way that this is your personal profile and it's only for you. I like it because you can add skills that you have and you can really make your profile look amazing and stand out by adding feature such as pictures videos and you can also connect with anybody from the person next door to a really amazing 3D modeller gaining access to their profile to browse! Alot of jobs come up in my desired region and this gives me a lot of encouragement as there are many opportunities out there and overall I would give this website a 10/10 because it allows me to have my own diversity with my profile and connect with very skilled workers in my desired industry: the games industry and it's great knowing you can job search on there and career search!
